And then we got there. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
The house is simple, just cinder blocks and white paint, but it is warm and inviting. Five bedrooms, one bathroom, and a big porch with a stunning view. The neighbor has horses and we visited with them before settling down for a Colombian picnic. We didn't have sandwiches though, instead, we unwrapped the banana leaves to feast on some homemade tamales. With fresh fruit and bubbly wine, we sat in the sun and passed the time. I let the spanish wash over me and just relaxed enjoying such a beautiful day.
about to pet them until I was told that those cuties bite!!
