And then folks, we arrived in the "Hollywood" of Saudi Arabia, Al Ula.  No Joke, they have the mountain-posted-sign to prove it!  There was no Rodeo Drive though, in fact, there was not much of anything besides sand and crazy rock formations.  I think Al Ula would do better to state that they are the "Arizona" or "Texas" of Saudi Arabia... but hey, whatevs.

Unfortunately, due to Ramadan, the one museum in town was closed and despite the heat, the abaya and tarha (head scarf) were absolutely mandatory around town.  We pushed on anyways, though, and found some pretty sweet rocks to climb on.
