I can't believe that it is all over. Or rather, it has just begun. The marriage that is. We spent so many months planning our arrival to Colombia and how we would juggle the tons of friends and family with which we wanted to spend quality time. And then there was the actual wedding prep itself. Even though we left a lot of the decisions in the hands of Pablo's parents who could better deal with the Colombian logistics in the months leading up to the big day, the weeks before the wedding were filled with final preparations. Like the construction of eleven giant farm tables, the building of a dance floor, the stringing of thousands of little twinkle lights, the arrangement of flowers, the baking of cakes, and of course the confusion of legalizing, translating, and stamping so many official documents. But now, those things are complete. The wedding happened. It was superbly beautiful and intimate. We are married!
Incredible, Fabulous, Beautiful, Emotional, don't even come close to describing the week. Great People, Great Food, Great Weather, Great Scenery, Great Family, Great Son in Law. WOW

ReplyDeleteEm it was a week of fabulosity. You looked beautiful, and everything was perfect. I'm so happy to have Pablo as our SIL and his family is amazing. Can't thank them enough for their warmth and hospitality. Colombia is a wonderful country. Love M
