Les Invalides

So this hospital/ retirement home is pretty fancy if you ask me.  Apparently the old folks in France have it made!  Les Invalides, or more formally L'Hotel national des Invalides was built in the late 1600s to house France's famous war heroes like Napoleon and his brothers.  The very large structure has some beautiful and down-right creepy sculptures and engravings all around it, but really, what most caught my eye were the ridiculously manicured bushes out front.  Seriously, they look like little hunch-backed gnomes enjoying the autumn sun.  Très mignon.
